With summer temperatures, it goes into the following week. First and foremost, sweating is the order of the day, as temperatures of up to 33 degrees are expected. However, with these high temperatures, the risk of isolated thunderstorms increases significantly in some states.
Already on Monday, the sun shines widely undisturbed. However, spring clouds will form in the mountains and thunderstorms are possible from Salzburg westward. In the east and south, it will remain dry and often cloudless. The wind blows primarily weakly from the southern directions. Early temperatures range from 13 to 20 degrees, and afternoon highs from 27 to 33 degrees.
Sunshine will predominate on Tuesday as well. However, the thunderstorm tendency increases from Vorarlberg to East Tyrol and into the Mostviertel. Further, in the east, it will remain more stable and unclouded. Also, one can look forward to temperatures up to 33 degrees on Tuesday.
The picture is almost the same on Wednesday: The sun will often shine, but in the day, the source clouds will become more frequent and starting from the mountains, the tendency for rain showers and thunderstorms will increase. The wind will be mostly light from east to south, with strong gusts near thunderstorms. It will be 14 to 20 degrees in the morning and 27 to 32 degrees in the afternoon.
Another summery and often sunny day is in store for Thursday. Rain showers and thunderstorms will form again in the mountains during the day. Towards the east and southeast, the thunderstorm tendency is lower. The wind will blow mainly weakly from different directions, but near thunderstorms, it may pick up in places. Early temperatures will range from 14 to 19 degrees, with daytime highs of 27 to 32 degrees.
